The Mad Devil
I am a huge fan of Dwarven Forge. I started collecting sometime prior to 2001. It may have been as early as 1999. Those early resin sculpts remain amazing. I ran a huge dungeon crawl interactive (7 concurrent full tables) as part of Living Greyhawk at Trinoc-Con. It made another appearance at Dragoncon.
I took a break collecting, but returned during the first Kickstarter when Stefan introduced Dwarvenite to the world. I have pledged for each Kickstarter and continue to pledge for each release now that they have moved to Gamefound for their crowdfunding.
This will take some time to update as I have a lot of pictures. We will start with pictures, then I will hopefully start telling stories behind them. It will be a WIP for a long time I expect.
The Mad Devil's Dwarven Forge Hall of Fame
There are a number of individuals on the web whose work I greatly admire. Sometimes they have inordinate creativity in their builds, sometimes they have amazing paint jobs, sometimes they are great at doing the lighting/special effects, and sometimes a bit of all three.
I will try to put links to their works where I know them/can find them. I am not active on many social media platforms, so there may be other locations to find their work. For example, I know several of them are active on instagram, but that is not a platform I patronize. Likewise, while many historically had accounts on twitter, they may have left for one or more of the alternates that arose after twitter changed to X. Again, I am not on those sites. So...use your best judgment on how to find them if I do not have a direct link.
Invincible Overlord - RIP. This individual was one of the early great builders. Their work is almost exclusively with the resin Dwarven Forge sets or materials that look like they made them. Link to the dwarven forge forums
