One of the things that is hard to do is to take a map from a published module and recreate the mapped area with dwarven forge.  I have had varying degrees of success.  Eventually, these may show up on separate pages, but for now, just be aware that there are spoilers for various modules on this page.

Current Modules I have mapped out

U1 Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh

U2 Danger at Dunwater

U3 The Final Enemy

Lost Mines of Phandelver

Return of the Runelords

Rise of the Runelords

Plaguestone

B1 In Search of the Unknown

U1 Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh

The house was next to impossible to do, so I really only did the basement.  Likewise, the ship, at the time was not something I tried to do.

U2 Danger at Dunwater

A much larger dungeon crawl.  This did not completely fit on my table.  It is also complicated by the fact that the PCs are not really supposed to go in and slaughter all the Lizard Men.  So you end up building a lot of stuff that they dont necessarily explore.  Still it was a fun exercise.

U3 The Final Enemy

Three sprawling levels with a recessed arena in the bottom level.  Two levels nominally underwater.  One of my most ambitious builds.

Bottom layer

Middle Layer

Top Layer

Three sprawling levels with a recessed arena in the bottom level.  Two levels nominally underwater.  One of my most ambitious builds.

Rise of the Runelords final battle

This is a great adventure path.  The final battle is epic.  Rune Giants, Dragons, a mega wizard, all with room to move around.  I think this was a TPK when I ran this particular build.

Plaguestone

This module was designed to have one set of encounters built in Dwarven Forge.  There was a bit of a disconnect in the timing.  It takes time to get the molds and such and make the pieces.  So the module released with the advent of Pathfinder 2.0 and the DF pieces came out much later.  Further, several of the other encounters are not designed for DF.  So it is a bit of a hodgepodge.  The dedicated DF sets are some of the better ones in terms of versatility.

Return of the Runelords

I did not run this module.  Reed did.  So most of it was done on battlemats.  There was one fight in the second half of the arc, where he asked me to put together an encounter.  I forget his exact prompt, but this was the end result.

Lost Mines of Phandelver

I have fond memories of the early basic, 1E and 3E modules.  B1 In Search of the Unknown; B2 Keep on the Borderlands; T1 The village of Hommlet; G1-3 The Giants; A1-4 The Slavers.  Q1 - Queen of the Demonweb Pits.  S2 White Plume Mountain.  I am not sure I actually played all of them back in the day, but reading them did all the things in my imagination.  Dragonlance was awesome in its first incarnation.  U1-U3 were not really first generation modules, but at least U1 was really good.  Night Below.  I am not sure if that was 1E or 2E.  But it was great.  When 3E came out - the Sunless Citadel and the Forge of Fury were both great modules.  We have seen remakes of many of these classics as they are updated for new editions or revisited as sequels (return to xxxx).  There were some great third party publications.  Freeport comes to mind.  I cant recall any 4E modules that fit this iconic status.  PF has, for me, the first and third Runelords adventure paths.  5E has mined and re-mined these iconic stories.  However, the one "original" module that has stood out for me is the Lost Mines of Phandelver.  It is not earth shaking, but it has all the elements to capture the imagination while also exploring a wide spectrum of rules so that the newer players can get familiar with how the game works.

There are some notable omissions here.  I personally liked I3-I5 and Pathfinders Wrath of the Righteous, but I don't really feel like they are in the same category.  Likewise, things like S1 Tomb of Horrors, S3-4 Lost Caverns and Expedition to the Barrier Peaks, I6 Ravenloft...they just did not land the same way for me.

I have run LMOP twice.  The maps are not conducive to adaptation to use with DF, at least not without some artistic license/creative liberties.  But here are my efforts.

The introductory ambush

This cave has a name.  I dont have the module with me.  I will update at some point.
