Wow, Wix shit the bed today

I am pretty sure I have discussed that I am using Wix to assist in giving me a WYSIWYG tool to make this website. All of the pictures are mine. All of the text is mine. I have generated with the AI some text here and there, but it is really not at all on point, so I have deleted it every time.

I am reduced to saying things like "create blank page entitled x"; "link page entitled x to button with text x inside"; "delete x from top menu bar" because for some reason it wants to add every page I create to the top menu bar.

I have used this three part command a lot. It was, until tonight, an improvement over "without adding x to the top menu bar, create a new page entitled x and link to it from the selected item" which never seemed to work and left me with something in the top menu bar and not always a new page, or sometimes a new page with a bunch of AI crap.

So today, it ignored the first command, could not find the page for the second or third commands and then randomly linked the button to a different page and deleted miniatures from the top menu bar.

So, instead of being able to give it a series of commands, I am reduced to treating it like a 5 year old and giving it a simple one part command at a time; verifying it is what I intended and then going to next step.

And then, once it actually gets through this three command sequence, manually creating the sections, headings, importing the pictures, and typing whatever captions.

All of the bitching aside, I have managed to get a lot of mini pics up. I opted for less chronological and more by how I sort them. That way I can go through a box and take all the pics rather than try to remember when I painted a given mini. Also, less commentary so far. I will try to go back and backfill with commentary.

Anyway, life keeps going.
