Wildlands was the 7th (or 8th) full kickstarter by Dwarven Forge.  It expanded on the Dreadhollow forest set/encounter that was introduced in Caverns Deep.  And it hit hard.  Swamps, Forests, and Mountains.  A crazy number of sculpts.  Chonky escarpments.  New terrain trays.  Lots of tree toppers.  Lots of elevation options.  I think I ended up getting almost two of the complete sets.  It finally arrived in the midst of covid related lock-ins and provided a lot of distraction from the shit show that was the world.  While I have other builds that include Wildlands pieces or are even entirely a Wildlands build, they have other thematic purpose.  These builds were, by and large, just me messing around to see what I could do.

I commissioned someone (Joe P) to paint the fall and fae themed versions of these Wildlands sculpts.  I also happen to own two of the old resin rafts and a set of the blowpipe lizardmen.  These are somewhat rare in that they were bonus pieces if you bought more than 3(?) sets of the cavernous lake sets.

So this build was designed to showcase the cool paint job Joe did for me as well as taunt some folks that I had two rafts and the lizard folk.  Sometimes I am not a nice person.

Regardless, I really like this build, even if it had no play purpose.

Raft Gloating

Another build to showcase my custom paint commission.  I also wanted to play with the stairs so they are scattered through the elevation changes.  I don't recall that this had any play purpose, but again, I like the build.

Elf Ring

Floating Objective

One of my largest builds.  The floating island went through a couple variations.  The raft made an appearance.  The monster nest did as well.  Maybe my first build with the DF fogger.
