2023 I think was the year I decided I should at a minimum paint 60 miniatures a year.  That is five a month.  I mentally designated this as one large and one really old miniature each month with the remaining three being whatever caught my eye.  I think this is also the year I found tyranids and began my strange fascination with them.  I remember how/why I got the tyrannid, but I still really don't understand why am I so interested in painting them.  I had gone into the GW shop to get some painting things (primer most likely, but also brushes, files, and the like).  The free promo mini that month was a hormagaunt.  It was enough.
